We need to spread out our internal wings, even if it's been a long while since you hoped enough to spread them. I speak hope into your hearts, choose to trust again, lift up your heads, I and we need you.
This is a call to the artists to release their ideas and creativity, for the dancers and singers to come out and be seen. Those who have ideas and dreams to create them. Come forth, you in hiding and hibernation. Come forth, you mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, young and old, today is your day.
Essence of Arabia
A visual portrayal of the traditional and intricately made 'Haseer' or hand-woven mat. James, over the last four years, has explored texture, shape, color, and ways of preservation to honor this basic or essential part of Gulf society.
Bronze Castings
These sculptures are depictions of animals and moments uniquely found in the Gulf region. James, having traveled to China to study this extensive process, perfected the art of wax sculpting to make these bronze masterpieces.

Mixed Media Furniture
As a creative, when you come in contact with new technologies, it gets the creative neurons firing. By chance, I came across a new way of cutting steel, using a water jet. This process can cut up to 2-3 inches of steel, marble, etc. with great accuracy and a smooth edge. I’ve mirrored the shapes from my wooden stools and transferred it into this stool. The steel had been laying around, exposed to the elements for 3 years developing the right patina (surface texture). It’s seemingly simple in design, beautiful, ergonomic, and can be easily replicated. It’s unnecessarily heavy and strong. Surprisingly, minimalist heavier structured pieces require a lot more refining in the designing stages than would be expected.
